A photographer from Great Yarmouth has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award.
Andrew Perkins was shortlisted in the professional photographer category in the EEF/Lombard manufacturing photography competition.
He has been put forward for his image of a cryogenic liquid nitrogen pump at the NOV HydraRig in Great Yarmouth.
His photograph will now go on display at an awards ceremony in the House of Commons on Thursday 10th December where the winning photographers will be announced. The winners will share a prize of £5,000 of Canon photography equipment.
Mr Perkins, said: 'I'm delighted to be shortlisted and honoured that my work will be on display in the House of Commons. Manufacturing offers lots of opportunities for exciting, interesting and dynamic images – the challenge as a photographer is to capture all that in a single shot.'
