Great Yarmouth man jailed for wounding

A GREAT Yarmouth man has been jailed for 40 months after admitting a vicious assault on a 33-year-old man in Marine Parade.

Ashley Fulcher, 21, of Wellington Road, was sentenced on Monday at Norwich Crown Court after pleading guilty to wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

The attack happened on Friday, January 27 when Fulcher attacked, punched and kicked his victim before dragging him to the ground.

Fulcher then stamped on the victim and kicked the man's head several times.

The 33-year-old victim needed numerous stitches, pressure bandages and an urgent CT scan after the assault.
