Great Yarmouth and Gorleston lifeboat station crews were called out twice at the weekend over the Maritime Festival.
The Gorleston inflatable lifeboat was launched on Saturday afternoon to assist a private cruiser/houseboat that had suffered engine failure while turning to the River Bure.
It had drifted down the River Yare and had managed to make it underneath Haven Bridge without collision.
Norfolk Constabulary's Broads Beat team and the event safety rib were trying to stop the cruiser from hitting the moored vessels until the ILB was on scene. A tow was established and the boat was taken to the yacht station, safe and well.
On Sunday at the festival, the all weather lifeboat was tasked to a rowing vessel in difficulty off Yarmouth.
The ALB established a tow and took the vessel to Yarmouth.
It had got into difficultly due to the sea and weather conditions.
