Most great-grandparents might want to spend their Saturday afternoon relaxed in front of the telly with a cup of tea and the newspapers in front of them.
But not 84-year-old Mollie Gooch, whose desire to live life to the max is showing no sign of abating.
On Saturday, Mrs Gooch, from Wendling, near Dereham, abseiled 70 foot down All Saints Church tower at Necton, near Swaffham.
This was the third time she has achieved this remarkable feat in recent years.
The retired school teacher said: 'I just like doing it. I did it with the children when I was a teacher and I got a taste for it.
'I didn't have the chance to go down a proper tower until I was 79 and then I went down the church again when I was 81.'
Mrs Gooch has faced big challenges in her life before, most of all when she was diagnosed with cancer two years ago.
Her activities have already raised over £700 for charity, which will go to both the church and to Swaffham and Litcham home hospice, which helped both her and her late husband when they underwent treatment for cancer.
She said: 'I feel as though I owe them something and I'd like to pay them back for all they did for us. We're aiming for £10 for every year of my life.
'Between this one and the last one I've been diagnosed with breast cancer and my husband passed away so we've had a lot of trips and treatment and they helped us out. This is our thank you.'
Despite her breast cancer diagnosis in 2016, she still manages to play table tennis, write a monthly column in her village magazine which she delivers herself door-to-door and attend an art class every week.
Although she's already done the church tower abseil three times, Mrs Gooch still wants to carry on and hopes to do it again in the near future.
She said: 'The man who does it said how long are you going to be doing this? So I said until I'm 90 and we shook on it.
'It could be two or three years until the next one but I would love to do it again if it's here.
