A Wymondham-based cancer support charity has received a financial boost following a Christmas flower arranging demonstration in Attleborough.
The event organised by the Great Ellingham and District Flower Club and Breckland Flower and Garden Club at the Connaught Hall raised �2,630 for Star Throwers.
Christine Hewson, Ann Norris, Brenda Tubb and Joy Tunmore performed demonstrations on the night in front of a large crowd. This was followed by a tombola and a raffle.
Star Throwers provide free, independent and unbiased advice on all types of cancer treatment, care and support.
