Crews called to put out grassland fire between Watton and Swaffham

Three fire engines were sent to tackle a grassland blaze between Swaffham and Watton.

Crews from Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service were called shortly after 2pm today to the fire at Hilborough.

Appliances from Sheringham, Attleborough and Downham Market used jets and hand appliances to put out the fire which began in grassland on Westgate Street.

The fire has now been extinguished.
