A grandmother who left her grandson unattended in a car while she went shopping in Aldi has been given 'very strong words of advice' by police.
Police from Mildenhall Tweeted about the incident on Monday, May 14 which they came across in the supermarket chain's Brandon store.
Officers Tweeted: 'Grandmother has been provided with some very strong words of advice after leaving her grandson unattended in her car whilst shopping in #Aldi, #Brandon.
'Do not leave children/pets in vehicles. Even with windows open, cars heat up fast & have potentially fatal consequences.'
