The grandmother of a three-year-old girl who died after being thrown from an inflatable in Gorleston has said the family are 'so very numb' - as a fundraising page set up in her memory nears £10,000.
Ava-May Littleboy, from Somersham in Suffolk, died at the James Paget University Hospital on Sunday after the tragic incident on Gorleston beach that morning.
A crowdfunding page set up by her family to fund a special bench in her memory has now raised £9,730, well over its original target of £1,500.
Angela Littleboy, Ava-May's grandmother, told BBC Radio Norfolk the family had been touched by the kindness of strangers.
She said: 'We are all just still so very numb, it doesn't seem right, it's not fair, it's not the order of things, it's not the way things are supposed to go.
'But we are talking about her lots and there are lots of little things that make us laugh, but there are lots of things that make us cry.'
