Between 50 and 100 ice cream vans are set to make the biggest procession of ice cream vans in the world.
Craig Trickett, 54, from Earsham, Bungay is one of many who will be taking his ice cream truck to Nantwich ahead of the world record attempt.
Mr Trickett said: 'I'm leaving at 4am to drive to the event and heading back in the same day, which is about 12 hours of driving.
'I'm not just doing it for the world record though, I'm raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.'
The hospital saved Mr Trickett's grandaughter three times when she had open heart surgery
He said: 'She is now three and wouldn't be here now without these amazing people who helped her.'
Mr Trickett will set off on Tuesday, October 12, and has set up a JustGiving page with a target of £10,000.
