A training provider has offered reassurance in case GCSE grades are not what you expected.

Nova Training, based in Gorleston, offers vocational training for 16 to 19 year olds.

The centre's manager, David Walker, said there was a lot of pressure on young people to get into college.

He added: 'With everyone waiting for GCSEs, for some, if they don't get the grades they need, it feels like the end of the world.'

But he said if learners got a D grade, or now a level 3, in GCSE Maths and English, they can go to Nova Training and resit those exams to improve their grades.

Mr Walker said it can act as a stepping stone to get into college or getting apprenticeship or work ready.

The centre offers a roll on roll off programme that operates 50 days of the year so you do not have to wait to start in September like you do with most schools and colleges.
