A goat has been stolen from a north Norfolk garden.

The white female Saanen goat was taken from an enclosure at the back of a house in School Road, Barton Turf. The thieves also stole a red hedge trimmer from an unlocked garden shed.

Police are now appealing for information following the theft, which happened between 7.45pm on Sunday and 7.30am on Monday.

Witnesses, or anyone who can help, should call PC Tina Read at Stalham Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
