There's great news for lovers of laughter – preparations are under way for the comeback of a four-day over-18s comedy festival in Norwich.
Organised by Norfolk's Red Card Comedy Club, Laugh in the Park will return to Chapelfield Gardens in July and will feature a line-up of well-known comedy stars, including panel show favourite Rob Beckett.
He will be joined by fellow comedian Ian Stone, who was ranked as one of the top 10 stand ups in Britain by the Independent. Mr Stone said that he was 'very excited' to be part of the festival.
'Norwich is indeed a fine city and I can't wait to come to talk nonsense to its citizens,' he added.
Paul Chowdhry, Jeff Innocent, Mike Gunn and musical comedian Kate Lucas will also take their turn on stage.

His claim that people are 'normally working class if their television is bigger than their bookcase' was voted one of the funniest one-liners at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe by the Guardian.

North London-born Ian started his stand-up career in 1991, after a girlfriend persuaded him to get on stage.
His first appearance at the Edinburgh Festival in 1996 came with controversy - A Little Piece of Pike, the tour's name, was considered racist, leading organisers to ask him to put it in inverted commas.
Ian is a regular on TV shows including The 11 O'Clock show, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Mock The Week.
