Messages of support have flooded in for Take That's Howard Donald after Gary Barlow tweeted an image of his bandmate's burnt back after braving the Norfolk heat without sun cream.

It only takes a minute to slap on some sun cream before heading out on a hot day, but sun worshipper Howard Donald decided to risk it - resulting in an uncomfortable gig at Carrow Road.

Gary Barlow tweeted the image to his 4.36 million Twitter followers last night and said: 'Brits in Norfolk #disgrace #nosuncream'

The sunburn comes just hours after Howard tweeted how much he loved Norwich.

He tweeted on Thursday afternoon: 'Staying nearby Norwich. What a beautiful part of England! Need to discover more when off tour'.
