Gifted gardeners will discuss a range of topics as a long-running BBC radio show returns to Lowestoft next month.

After St Andrew's Church and Community Centre co-hosted a successful recording of Radio 4's popular Gardener's Question Time programme in 2014, the show will be recorded at the church in Roman Road, Lowestoft on July 24.

A spokesman for the organisers said: 'They are coming again to Lowestoft because this year is their 70th anniversary and as part of their celebrations they are visiting the four furthest compass points of Great Britain – including Lowestoft.'

Doors open at 5.30pm and the programme starts at 6.30pm. The event is being hosted by Oulton Broad and Lowestoft Horticultural Society supported by St. Andrews Community Garden. Tickets cost £2.50, which includes tea or coffee and biscuits, and they are available from the church next Friday, June 30 and on July 7, July 14 and July 21 between 10am and noon. Cash only and first come, first served.
