A mum who started running just a year ago to get fit is set to take part in the London Marathon.
Anita Bullen, from Cromer, is preparing to pound the streets of the capital in the 26-mile challenge on April 23.
Mrs Bullen, whose 15-year-old son Nathan is autistic, is aiming to raise £1,600 for Phab - a charity helping children and adults with disabilities.
She said: 'I joined the North Norfolk Beach Runners last year and started the beginners course, got hooked and became a permanent member.
'My motivation for starting running was fitness, but completing the marathon is an opportunity to raise awareness for disabled children.'
Since taking up running Cromer Academy catering manager Mrs Bullen, 46, has already completed a half-marathon.
