POLICE have made fresh appeals for information after a sperm whale's tooth carving was taken in a burglary in Ditchingham, near Bungay.

Someone broke into the rear doors of a house in Ditchingham Dam and ransacked the property between 4.45pm on Monday, February 6 and 1.20pm on Tuesday, February 7.

The scrimshaw, a 5in sperm whale's tooth which features a carving of a dolphin, and a 7in Sony digital picture frame were taken.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have been offered the stolen property or has information concerning the whereabouts of the stolen items.
