Freedom of Loddon award is handed to Chris Crease

Loddon Parish Council has presented the 'Freedom of Loddon' award to Chris Crease.

The council presents the award annually to someone who is judged by the council to have made a notable contribution to the community of Loddon.

Chris grew up in Loddon and has been involved with Loddon surgery, the parish magazine, Loddon WI and was a founder member of the Loddon History Group. She also helped inaugurate the Priests Room at the Holy Trinity Church in Loddon.

Chris has written a series of booklets on the history of the area and has an archive of films of the village, which are shown regularly. She actively promotes the area and is seen as a great ambassador for Loddon.
