Free children's activities will return to Lowestoft this summer.
Waveney District Council's popular programme of summer activities, designed for children aged between nine and 16, are organised by the council's Active Communities Team and will run during the school summer holidays.
Beginning on Tuesday, July 25, the activities will take place each Tuesday and Thursday on Lowestoft's South Beach, running until Thursday, August 24. Activities will include boxing, tag rugby, dodgeball, cricket, rounders, futsal and giant volleyball. The climbing wall will be at Clifton Road car park on Thursday, August 17.
Mary Rudd, cabinet member for community health and safety said: 'Our free summer activities are always popular and offer local children the chance to get outside, be active and stay occupied over the summer holidays.'
Sign in will be at 12.30pm each Tuesday and Thursday throughout the holidays at Beach Hut 121, south of Claremont Pier, with activities starting at 1pm.
