Temporary four-way traffic lights will be used at the Sole & Heel roundabout in Salhouse Road, Rackheath.

The lights will be in place from Monday November 27 and will be used during off-peak periods to allow for electrical supply ducting to be installed.

The signals will be used from 9am to 4pm and could be in place for up to five days, though it is hoped the works will completed within three days.

The ducting is required to provide electrical supply to signs at the Salhouse and Norwich Northern Distributor Road roundabout.

The council are advising the temporary traffic lights will inevitably lead to delays, and if queues form on Green Lane East, motorists are being reminded that they must not stop on the railway level crossing.

A traffic management team will be on site throughout the works and will aim to minimise delays while ensuring the level crossing is kept clear.
