Four people were rescued after getting cut off by the tide at Scolt Head Island in Brancaster.

A spokesman for Hunstanton RNLI Lifeboat said they were alerted by the UK Coastguard at 2.55pm on Sunday, June 2

A spokesman added: "Hunstanton Lifeboat proceeded to Brancaster and located the casualties. They were taken on board the lifeboat and landed on to the beach into the care of the local coastguard response team.

"A further sweep of the area was requested, and the lifeboat crew located two people on the seaward side of the island. They were picked up and also landed on the beach into the care of the local coastguard response team. The lifeboat was then released to return to station."
