The bright blue courts were jointly funded by the Lawn Tennis Association and West Norfolk Council and cost £200,000.

They are part of a huge redevelopment at Alive Lynnsport that includes two new Astroturf pitches, a new car park and access road.

Tennis development manager Jodie McGill said: 'We hope the courts will become a hub for tennis in west Norfolk with tennis activity for all.

'We are primarily a pay and play facility but our coaching programme led by JustJC Tennis boasts LTA pilot sessions in men and women's only activities, beginners and advanced training, disability-focused classes and a fantastic mini-tennis schedule for children.
