A driver and three passengers were injured after a car lost control, overturned and ended up next to a tree.

The blue Ford Mondeo was travelling at Burnham Deepdale at about 10.30pm on Tuesday when the crash happened on Whiteway Road about 350m south of the junction with the A148.

It was heading towards the village and was the only vehicle involved.

The 20-year-old male driver sustained head injuries.

Three passengers were in the car. A 22-year-old woman suffered arm and leg injuries; an 18-year-old man got a leg injury and cut to the head; and a 37-year-old man sustained minor cuts and grazes. They were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital at King's Lynn for treatment.
