Former EastEnders star Michelle Ryan is to star in the musical Cabaret when it comes to Norwich Theatre Royal later this year.
Ms Ryan, who played Zoe Slater in the BBC soap opera for five years, is joining singer Will Young in the show which comes to the city in September.
The production turns Weimar Berlin of 1931 into a sassy, sizzling haven of decadence, and at its dark heart are the notorious Emcee (Will Young) and sassy Sally Bowles (Michelle Ryan), who perform nightly at the infamous Kit Kat Klub.
As well as EastEnders, Ms Ryan has played the title role in US show The Bionic Woman. She has also appeared in television dramas including Mansfield Park and Jekyll, and has appeared in Miss Marple, Merlin and Doctor Who. Cabaret is at the theatre from September 17 to 22.
