A former care home for dementia patients has been converted into a seven-room B&B with a new cafe, at a cost of about £15,000.
An open day was held at Sunnymeade, the former Mead Lodge residential home, in Crown Road, Buxton on Saturday, November 30.
The building dates back to 1895 and its original name was Sunnymeade.
Mead Lodge shut suddenly in August, following a scathing inspection result which saw a bed block put in place at the home.
The owners then decided to close it down, and a bid to revive the building as a bed and breakfast was later lodged with Broadland District Council.
Planning papers submitted with the application said: "Since Mead Lodge was closed, we have looked at how it could keep being a central point in the village and provide employment, support the local economy and tourism."
