Former Norwich City striker and cancer survivor John Hartson has hit out after someone tweeted that he should 'drop dead'.
Hartson, 36, who played four times for the Canaries' during a loan spell in 2007/08, was attacked by someone on Twitter who told the former Arsenal and Celtic star to drop dead and said he should play football on a minefield.
The footballer who battled testicular cancer in 2009 and now campaigns for more awareness of the disease, said: 'I can take banter, but when somebody says that they wish you were dead or worse, it takes it to a whole new level.
