The Environment Agency has issued a flood alert for the River Waveney upstream of Ellingham.
The alert means flooding is possible, and residents should be prepared.
A statement on the Environment Agency website said: 'River levels continue to be raised with further rainfall expected over the next 12 hours. We will continue to monitor levels closely.'
