Fire tackled at flat above Tesco store

Three fire crews tackled a fire in a flat above a shop on Norwich Road in Thetford last night.
They were alerted shortly after 6.30pm to the flats above the Tesco Express.
Appliances from Thetford, East Harling and Attleborough attended.
A spokesman for Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service said the flat had been occupied at the time but there were no injuries and they were able to get out safely.
Crews used breathing apparatus, hose reel jets and main jets to extinguish the fire.

The crews were on scene for around an hour and a half.
