A five-year-old boy has died in hospital following a road traffic collision in Three Score Road, Norwich today.
The youngster, who has not been named, had been walking on a footpath leading from nearby fishing lakes with his father at about 1.30pm.
The pair had just reached the crossing point on Three Score Road when the collision, which involved an estate car, happened.
He was rushed to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital by ambulance but later died.
The male driver of the estate car has been spoken to by police.
An investigation has been launched and any witnesses should contact 0845 456 4567.
