Five vehicles were involved in a pile-up on the A47 dual carriageway near Dereham at about 8.35pm tonight.
The road is currently closed eastbound at the A1075 Yaxham Road junction while the vehicles are recovered.
A Norfolk police spokesman said that there were no major injuries.
Earlier, at about 7.30pm, a vehicle hit the central reservation on the A47 on the King's Lynn-bound carriageway near the Thickthorn roundabout, outside Norwich.
