An isolated community have said enough is enough after six vehicles were destroyed in the latest in a long line of suspected arson attacks.
A fire started in the early hours of the morning in the Haddiscoe train station car park.
The five cars and a VW Camper Van belonged to residents who live in a string of railway cottages which face on to the station platform.
In the past decade they have been hit numerous times by arsonists and car thieves and their calls for CCTV to be installed have so far fallen on deaf ears.
One of the car's owners was Becky McTamney's mum Jay.
Ms McTamney, whose own car was previously burnt out by arsonists in the same car park said there had four or five similar incidents.
She added: 'Most of the time there doesn't seem to be a purpose, they're just starting a fire for no reason.
'It makes you feel so horrible. You just accept that nothing is going to be done about it. You have to suck it up and buy a new car.
'We want some protection, there are a lot of kids around here.
'People shouldn't have to accept it when something could be done about it. We have got to have some CCTV so you know you're safe.'
Mother-of-three Abbie King, 46, was woken up by a loud bang caused by the fire at about 1am on Saturday night while her children were asleep.
She went to the window and saw a bright orange glow across the railway from her home.
'I saw it was in the car park and the cars were well on fire. We then went to wake the neighbours.'
Her husband, Jason, also 46, whose BMW was destroyed in the blaze, said it would help it CCTV was installed.
'Some good work is being done to upgrade the station now it is busier but there needs to be more security.'
Pip Utting, 48, was visiting family with her two children from London and was left stranded as all that was left of her Ford Focus was a burnt out wreck.
She said: 'I should have stayed in London, it would've been safer.'
A spokesman for Greater Anglia, who operate the station, said they would be willing to talk to the local residents about their concerns.
