Five arrested after King's Lynn fight

Police in King's Lynn are appealing for witnesses to an incident of disorder in the town involving upwards of 20 people which happened in the early hours of New Year's Day.

Police in King's Lynn are appealing for witnesses to an incident of disorder in the town involving upwards of 20 people which happened in the early hours of New Year's Day.

Police were called to reports of a large number of people fighting in the Millfleet and Stonegate Street areas of the town, close to Hillington Square, at 2am on Monday January 1.

Many of those involved dispersed upon police arrival.

Five people, four males and a female, were arrested for public order offences. Three have subsequently been bailed pending further enquiries and two were given street bail.

Officers investigating this incident are appealing for any of those present who have not yet spoken to police or any further witnesses to come forward.
