The fireworks display at Cromer Carnival went ahead as planned, to the great relief of everyone involved after last year's cancellation due to the bad weather.
The night of Thursday, August 17 began with a procession of children carrying lanterns and lights through the town, before the fireworks lit up the sky co-ordinated to a mix of classical and popular music.
The event was one of the standouts from this year's carnival, which was run by chairman Tony Shipp and volunteers.
Their work was praised by Cromer Town Mayor John Frosdick, who said: 'I would like to say how much I enjoyed the carnival this year - it was fantastic.
'I would like to say a huge thanks to all the fantastic volunteers for all their hard work in putting on a splendid carnival. 'Thanks also to Tony Shipp and to the carnival committee. It was amazing seeing all the hard work that goes on for the carnival.'
