Firefighters were called to fires at two homes in the west of Norfolk overnight.

The first, a small fire in a bedroom, started shortly before 9pm last night at a property in Wisbech Road, Walpole St Andrew.

One fire crew from West Walton and one crew from Terrington attended, and they were there until just after 9.30pm.

At about 3.45am this morning there was a fire in a house in Pleasant Court, King's Lynn.

Two fire crews from King's Lynn attended the incident and one person was helped out of the property by firefighters.

Firefighters were at the scene until about 4.15am.
