Firefighters tackled a kitchen blaze inside a property in Cadge Road this morning.
Crews from Earlham and Carrow were called to the home in Norwich shortly after 5.50am to reports of a fire.
Wearing breathing apparatus, used hose reel jets to fight back the flames. A thermal image camera was then deployed to check for any remaining hot spots.
A fire service spokesman said the incident was over by 6.18am.
