Firefighters were called out last night after a house fire was reported in Southwold.
When the crews from Southwold and Wrentham arrived at the scene at about 11pm in Ferry Road they found the ground floor of the detached two storey home alight.
Two fire fighters donned breathing equipment and a hose reel to fight back flames. The fire at the 11m by 7m wooden property was under control by 11.15pm. Crews were back at their respective stations by 12.47am this morning.
