Firefighters tackled a blaze which ripped through four bedsits in Lowestoft.
Crews were called to the fire at a semi-detached home in Grosvenor Road just before 8.15pm tonight (Tuesday) to reports that people were in the burning bedsits.
Two fire crews from Lowestoft went to the blaze and discovered there was a fire in the ground and first floor of the home.
Just after 8.30pm all the residents were accounted for and UK Power were called to turn off electricity to the property while firefighters used jets to tackle the flames and went into the property to check for hot spots.
The owner of the property was at the scene by 9.15pm and had pledged to re-house the tenants.
The fire had been put out by 9.30pm, by which time scenes of crime police officers were at the scene.
