Firefighters tackled fires that broke out in two north Norfolk homes yesterday night.

Crews from Mundesley and Aylsham dealt with a kitchen fire in a home on Mundesley Road, North Walsham, shortly before 6pm. They were on the scene for about half an hour and gave trauma care before leaving. An ambulance crew also attended.

And at about 7.40pm firefighters from Aylsham and North Walsham went to a home on Station Road, Aylsham, after a neighbour heard a fire alarm sounding. They were on the scene for about 25 minutes and used hose reel jets to put out the flames and a large fan to clear smoke from the premises.
