Firefighters tackled fires that had been deliberately started.

On Sunday, August 7, two fires were started in Thetford and Norwich.

At 9.55pm a fire engine from Thetford attended a fire in the open, in Ely Way.

They used hand appliances to extinguish the flames.

Another fire was started in Barker Street, in Norwich.

Emergency services were called to reports of flames, in the open, at around 10.15pm.

A crew from Earlham used hose reel jets to put out the fire.

Both matters have been passed onto the police to investigate.
