Firefighters tackled a large rubbish fire in the open near the A11 at Thetford this morning.
Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 9.05am after large plumes of smoke were seen just off the southbound carriageway behind the BP service station.
Appliances from Thetford and Attleborough arrived at the scene at 9.14am.
A spokesman for the fire service said the fire took six minutes to extinguish.
