A woman had to be rescued from her car after an accident in Fundenhall.

Fire and police were called to Rattees Corner in the south Norfolk village at around 8am this morning (Thursday, January 5) after the woman, driving a Suzuki Vitara, was involved in a single-vehicle crash.

Fire crews from Carrow and Earlham used hydraulic rescue equipment to save her.

A police spokesman said she suffered minor injuries.
