Firefighters rescued a Suffolk Punch horse from a water filled ditch.
The horse had fallen into and got trapped in the ditch in The Gravel in West Row, near Mildenhall, today just before 11am.
It was trapped in one metre of water.
Fire crews from Mildenhall and Newmarket were sent to the scene together with a rescue vehicle, water rescue vehicle and a multi-purpose 4x4 from Bury St Edmunds.
The horse was freed by 12.10pm and put into the care of an equine vet.
