Firefighters rescue cat stuck in tree
Firefighters from North Walsham and Great Yarmouth were called out by the RSPCA to rescue a cat stuck up a tree in Arnold Pitcher Close, North Walsham, this morning.
The Yarmouth crew used their hydraulic platform to bring the cat to safety in an operation which took nearly two hours.
The fire service received the call at 10.50am and the incident was officially logged as finished at 12.47pm.
Fire crews from the two towns were called to the same road to rescue a kitten on October 26 last year. It is not known whether it was the same animal. No-one from the RSPCA was available to comment today.
