Boxing Day found itself an entirely new meaning this year, after a group of people found themselves boxed into a lift in Riverside car park.
Firefighters were called to the scene at 5.45pm yesterday, after a lift carrying about a dozen people got stuck.
A Twitter user stuck in the lift first Tweeted about the incident at around 5:35pm, with firefighters freeing the trapped people at 6:10pm.
The Twitter user, whose name is Martin, also provided updates throughout the incident.
