Fire crews were called to put out two fires on a Thetford estate last night.
An appliance from Thetford was first called at 1.22am to reports of rubbish on fire in Ely Way, on the Abbey estate.
A spokesman for the fire service said it was uncertain whether it was a deliberate ignition, but the police had been informed.
Less than an hour later, at 2.16am, an appliance from Thetford was called to the estate again to reports of a bin fire in a wooded area behind Durham Way.
The crew used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire, which is believed to have been a deliberate ignition. The incident was also reported to police.
