Firefighters were called to an incident at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital this morning.
Crews were called at about 8.15am after a young patient climbed a tree.
A Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital spokesman said: 'We can confirm that the fire service attended the hospital site for 25 minutes this morning as a precaution when a young patient climbed a tree. The youngster climbed down again without needing assistance and was unharmed.'
Fire crews from Earlham and Carrow attended the scene along with the aerial ladder platform from Earlham.
