Firefighters called to crash in Norfolk village

Firefighters were called to help following a crash in a Norfolk village.

Appliances from Wymondham and Hingham attended the B1108 to a crash at Carleton Forehoe, near Wymondham, at just after 6.50pm tonight (Sunday, September 30).

The crews made the scene and vehicles safe and assisted the police.

Meanwhile in other call outs this evening, one appliance from Earlham attended St Mildreds Road in Norwich at just after 8.20pm to reports of rubbish on fire.

Crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

At just after 7.35pm tonight, one appliance from Kings Lynn North attended Gelham Manor to some fencing and hedges on fire.

The crew used hose reel jets to extinguish.

Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service also received a call to Standard Place in Great Yarmouth following reports of a fire but it turned out to be a false alarm caused by cooking fumes.
