Firefighters were called out to help rescue a person who had fallen in the river at Brundall on Friday evening.
Two fire crews - from Carrow and Sprowston - were called to the scene shortly before 6pm and were there for about an hour.
A Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said he was unable to tell us the location of the rescue but said the person had been transferred into the care of the ambulance service.
