Five fire crews were called out to a fire at a property in Lowestoft this evening.
The incident in Church Road started shortly before 10.15pm.
A Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said that they had initially received a report that it was a roof fire but that on arrival firefighters found it to be a chimney fire.
Two crews from Lowestoft stayed at the scene until shortly before 11.30pm but the other fire crews were stood down from the incident.
