Fire crews have been called back to the smouldering site of a major blaze that ripped through the historic quarter of King's Lynn town centre three days ago.
One appliance from Kings Lynn North and one from Kings Lynn South were called out at 2.30am this morning (October 21) to deal to residual burning embers from a previous incident on the High Street.
Crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the smouldering embers at the Sue Ryder shop near the Saturday Market Place.
More than 40 firefighters and 11 fire engines from across West Norfolk were called to the huge fire that brought out in the store room of the shop on Thursday morning. The blaze caused significant structural damage to the terraced shop.
