Staff from Norfolk Fire & Rescue Service will be carrying out an emergency training exercise in Norwich city centre on Monday.

It will take place from 7pm to 9pm on Malthouse Road, at intu Chapelfield's service yard and the car park area.

Carrow Fire Station watch manager Stefan Rider said: 'The exercise will also involve staff from Marks & Spencer and intu Chapelfield.

'The aim of the exercise is to test their resilience plans and our emergency response plans for a large incident in a major shopping centre.'

Members of the public should not be alarmed by the large presence of fire service staff and vehicles in the area between the times stated.
